What is a Departmental Database System?
While working with our larger clients we have come to realise that there are some systems in place, developed over the years, upon which operations are heavily reliant. That said, whilst re-development would be the ideal solution by harnessing the latest most powerful technologies, we are also well aware that budgets are a significant consideration and that this may not be a viable option in the first instance.

What can Moov2 do for you?
We have become accustomed to picking up where others left off, for what ever reason; "that IT guy has left the comapny" or "the contractor can no longer be contacted". Both are all too familiar scenarios many business face with their systems. In some cases we are asked to re-develop where the budget is available, in others we are asked to maintain and improve the existing systems until the budget becomes available. In any case we are well versed in orientating ourselves with the business' core processes, regardless of their complexities and the systems that have been left without support.

Sensitivity
Where business systems and competitive market environments are concerned we understand your need to maintain complete confidentialty. We are happy to enter into any reasonable confidentiality agreement and will on request delete any and all materials related to your business from our systems.

How much will it cost?
This is very much dependant on the size and scope of the system as well as the technologies in which it is developed. If we are able to gain remote access to the system then the cost will be based on a standard consultancy time and materials basis dependant on the level of complexity and scope of the system to which we must become orientated, plus the amount of development work required. If on-site consultancy is required there will be an additional charge to include expenses. In any case we always work on a fixed price quotation where a detailed specifiaction is achievable and we maintain ultimate project control.
