Since 1st January, 2007 a new law under the Companies Act states limited companies MUST display your:
- Place of registration and registered number
- Address of your registered office
- Limited companies only – whether or not your company name states you as such, you must identify yourself as this type of company.
- Investment companies only – You must state that it is such a company
ALL email footers, order forms, websites, business letters and other such documents must state the above mentioned information.
All these requirements apply whether the document is in hard copy or electronic form.
Ensure you make these amendments immediately, as otherwise you risk being fined!
