  • Dan Thomas, Director of Moov2 Ltd and reputed RIA conference speaker, has been welcomed to the pages of O’Reilly’s leading Rich Internet Application community website InsideRIA.

    Dan’s first article, taking a case study type approach, focussed on just some of the benefits that rich internet application technology (such as Adobe Flex, Microsoft Silverlight & Ajax) can bring to end-users, aptly named “Real World RIA Productivity Tools”.

    Dan’s article highlights a handful of the ever growing number of Flex based tools available on the internet, such as Adobe’s Buzzword, a web based word processor, and Lovely Charts, an online charting application, both of which are built upon the Flex platform and which significantly help to exploit the workflow and collaboration possibilities that both RIA and web based technologies, in conjunction, can offer.

    Dan is extremely pleased to have been asked to feature on the industry leading community website and is already planning a series of articles surrounding the subject matter of Adobe Flex and Microsoft Silverlight which will soon appear on InsideRIA.
