About the Project
The Katie Collins project included a custom built shopping cart with a PayPal gateway, and the functionality for her to add and organise galleries freely.
The site has four main categories, soon to be five when she posts her first 'Travel' gallery. Within these categories she can add as many galleries as she likes and as many photos within those galleries as well. These photos can be set to be purchasable, and Katie has the option within her administrative area to set sizes and prices for these photos.
About the Client
Katie Collins is passionate about her work and it shows in her final product. She has always loved photography and enjoys it as a hobby as well.

When taking pictures I like to spend time getting used to my surroundings. When covering the London Tattoo Convention for example, I spent the first day just wandering around watching what was happening around me, talking to people, finding out more about them. The picture I took of Matt Gone, who was in the process of getting his face tattooed, came on the second day. We got talking and he told me how he’d always wanted to get his face tattooed but had never got round to it. Then a month before the picture was taken, he lost his home and many of his possessions in the New Orleans Hurricane. He told me that’s when he realised you never know what’s around the corner and you have to make the most of life.
