Showcase: The Albany : Pub in Guildford
About the Project
The Albany pub in Guildford did not have a website prior to approaching Moov2 and wanted a way to reach their potential clients and regulars, giving them access to online menus, updates on weekly events and general information. They now have a website using Moov2's custom content management system, giving them the facility to quickly and easily edit their news, events and menus to ensure they are up to date and keep their visitors informed.
The website was built with web standards and accessibility in mind to cater for the visitors of the website as well as encouraging good search engine rankings.
About the Client
The Albany is one of Guildford ’s most recent additions to the social scene, previously called “The Rats Castle” it has undergone a total refurbishment and change of ownership. Partners David Hall and Myles Gilbert, both having grown up and live in Guildford, chose to create an, independent gastro pub with a twist, offering freshly prepared, locally sourced food, fine wine and a beautiful mixture of live music from Gav on his Guitar on Tuesday nights to live jazz and blues on Sunday evenings.The Albany has many attributes, from relaxed spacious lunchtimes, fine dining in the restaurant, the buzz of the ambient nights at the bar or the cosy Sundays on our comfy sofa’s tasting our delicious home cooked roast dinners.
